| AVG is a family of anti virus and internet security software. AVG stands for Anti Virus Guard. According to latest statistics there are over 110 million users of AVG. FEATURES  Computer scans - runs scans of your files and holds threats in a quarantine area
Email - Scans incoming and outgoing mail for threats
Repair - has the ability to repair some virus infected files
Internet - Checks all of the links online to make sure they are secure
Schedule scans - Set dates and times for regular scans

- SCAN YOUR COMPUTER:
1. A scan now button is available on the left side toolbar
- SCAN SPECIFIC FILES:
1. Click Scan Options on the left side
2. Click Scan specific files and folders
3. Select the files you wish to scan
4. Click Start specific scan
- ADDING A SCHEDULED SCAN:
1. Click Scan options on the left side
2. Click Manage scheduled scans
3. Click edit scan schedule
4. Select Enable this task
5. Enter the details of the scan you wish
6. Click Save
- TURNING ON AND OFF FEATURES:
1. On the home screen, by clicking on any of the features you can choose whether to have them on or off
- WHAT TO DO WHEN A SCAN IS FINISHED:
1. Once your scan is complete, you will see threats found
2. It will give you options of what to do with what is found
3. I recommend removing them or quarantining them as this will prevent any more damage being done
