Download and Sign up to Skype

Downloading Skype

From the VillAge homepage, select communication software
Select Skype
Select Download and Sign Up to Skype
Click the link at the top of the thread
You will be redirected to a download skype website
Click the download skype button and a download will begin
Once that download has completed, run the downloaded installer
This will create a pop up of skype where you must enter the language you wish skype to be in
Then click I agree (note! this means you are accepting the terms of conditions of skype software)
Skype will then be installed onto your computer

Creating an Account

Open up the Skype program
Click "Create an Account"
A webpage will pop up and ask you to fill in your account details
Alternatively you can register with Skype through your facebook account, otherwise enter the details as appropriate
You must create a Skype name, this is your username which people can find you and add you using
Once the form has been completed, click I agree and you will have created a skype account!
You can now sign in to Skype using your registered account
